Wired My Way

The Autism Workbook for Kids & Teens

Your brain is not broken. It’s wired your way. 💜

Wired My Way is a fun, hands-on workbook that helps autistic children and teens understand how their brain works, what it needs, and how to explain that to the people around them. Guided by Nova, a friendly brain who notices all the little things, young people explore their senses, feelings and energy, find what helps at school, and practise speaking up for themselves.

Created by The SEN Advocate, it’s neurodiversity-affirming from start to finish. Autism isn’t treated as something to fix, stimming is celebrated, and there’s no pressure to mask or make eye contact. There are no wrong answers, pages can be done in any order, and writing, drawing, typing, symbols and stickers all count.
