Moving On Up
Transition Workbook
Moving on up. 🌈
Moving On Up is a calm, practical workbook that helps children with SEND get ready for secondary school. It takes the move one step at a time: getting to know the new school, planning for worries, practising new routines, making friends, and telling new teachers what helps.
Secondary school brings a lot of change at once: a bigger building, a different teacher for every subject, a timetable, a canteen and new friendships. For children with special educational needs, planning ahead makes a real difference. This workbook turns that planning into small, doable pages a child can work through over the summer term and holidays, then keep using in their first weeks of Year 7.
