Maths My Way
The Dyscalculia Workbook for Kids and Teens
Numbers? No problem. My brain, my tools. 💛
Maths My Way is a fun, hands-on workbook that helps children and teens with dyscalculia understand their brain, feel braver about maths and find the tools that make numbers easier. Guided by Digit, a friendly brain who is brilliant at ideas, words and stories but finds numbers a bit like a foreign language, young people explore their strengths, shrink their maths worry and build real-life confidence with money, time and school.
Created by The SEN Advocate, it is not a maths practice book. There are hardly any sums in it, and ratings use faces and colours instead of number scales. Number lines, calculators and times-table squares are treated as smart tools, not cheating. There are no wrong answers, spelling doesn’t count, pages can be done in any order, and drawing, ticking, colouring and typing all count.
